CORA / CFW Special Needs Staff
“The opportunity provided by CFW/Cora gives us as a disabled Iraqi veteran and military spouse, the chance to work from home during a stressful time in our lives, where no other job outside the home could offer the flexibility we need to meet our personal needs. We also have had reassurances from Lori and Cindy during trainings that learning a new job is possible without adding stress and can be a good experience. Our confidence in ourselves that we can do this is much stronger than we first thought. They are caring, patient and truly want us to be successful with support to perform the job's requirements both personally and with a written manual to help with questions along the way. We hope that other military families in need will have the chance to get the help to help themselves be productive again and have a rewarding job through CFW/CORA.”

“I have been a part of CORA/CFW for nearly 1 ½ years now. Over this period, I have adamantly participated in supporting our mission for providing employment opportunities for veterans, disabled veterans, and military spouses. The hard work and efforts of everyone at CORA/CFW exemplifies the passion and belief behind our cause. I have witnessed good, hardworking members and former members of our nation’s Armed Forces Family make the transition into civilian life, while facing challenges brought on by their sacrifices in serving our country. As a business family, we at CORA/CFW not only help bring about strength, support, motivation, and self-belief to those who’ve served our country in time of need, but we also embrace their desire to continue to serve our country and protect our freedoms, regardless of the capacity. “

CORA/CFW Team Leader
“I myself being a disabled veteran from the Iraq war and not physically able to take a very demanding strenuous job to make ends meet, this has been the perfect start for me. I live by the belief if you can think it you can do it. I was given a thirty percent chance to ever walk again. Well myself being hard headed yet very persistent went that extra step and know this, I can now walk very short distances. So we all can achieve what we want when we want with desire, passion and determination.
Leadership is key to any business or company "Vincent Lombardi" wrote “Leaders aren't born, they are made.” And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that's the price we'll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal. That is so true, Ilene, Cindy, Lori, Sandy have been there for me. I respect and look up to them for anything that has to do CORA or CFW. Also to give opportunities for the growing number of soldiers and families of soldiers, not just wounded troops but there are serious accidents worldwide that leave wreckage and carnage behind with no one to worry about the medical expenses. With this program there is hope and hope is all we all need because with hope we have faith and faith becomes action and actions produce results. Reminds me an old man told me, throughout the centuries there were men/women who took first steps down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision. That is what these women have and Ilene is making it happen with a very dependable team at her side. God Bless.”

“I have been an Air Force wife for 7 ½ years. With my husband often deployed, and with our family having to move often, having a stable career has been a challenge. Our families are not close enough to offer support when my children are sick. CORA/CFW offers me the flexibility I need so that I may work and take care of the needs of my two young sons.”
Shelly Worrall, Military Spouse
“Working for CFW and CORA has been a rewarding experience for me and I hope it will be long time career. As a single mom with some health problems finding a job that fits my schedule and allows me to be home for my son before & after school, on snow days and summer vacations, etc.. has always been a challenge. When a good friend of mine told me I should check out this opportunity I thought 'what have I got to lose'? I never thought I would gain so much!! I can make my own hours, my bosses & team members are great and I'm having a great time. I am a new member of the team but hopefully I will be part of this for a long time. I am part of a team that not only helps companies of all sizes but because of the work that Ilene does many companies that were failing are now profitable again. This means people employed at these companies STAY employed! It feels good to be a part of something that can have a positive impact on so many people. I hope this company continues to grow and helps to employ the many, many people out there who think they can't ever have a meaningful job because of personal limitations due to health or physical disabilities. I didn't think that this was a job I could handle but my team leader has been so helpful and encouraging I can't remember what I thought was so difficult. Thank You Ilene and everyone else for giving me the support I needed to get started and to anyone out there thinking "I can't do this!" I want to say "YES YOU CAN!"

CORA/CFW
As a military spouse with a disability, college student and mother of teenagers, this can be a very stressful combination. I find that working from home helps me maintain my health a little better than if I was working out of the home. I really enjoy the people that I interact with since I have been working with CORA. They have given me back my "can do" attitude by sharing this supervisory opportunity with me. I feel vested in their mission and expect to see great things from this group as a whole.
